  Crème Caramel:

Ingredients:
-Cream                1 pint cream (600ml)
-Sugar                 1 Cup & 1 Tablespoons
-Egg yolk             6
-Sour Cream        250ml
-Vanilla essence    1 teaspoon
-Butter                 50gm
-Salt                    1/2 teaspoons
-Water

1. Make Caramel, this is done by putting the 1 cup of sugar into a pan and melting it once in a liquid form pour into a flan dish.

2. In the same pot which the caramel was cooked in pour a pint of cream.

3. In a separate bowl beat egg yolks with vanilla essence, 1 Tablespoon of sugar, the sour cream and the salt.

4. Pour cream into the egg mixture and beat.

5. Pour on top of the caramel in the flan dish.

6. Put the flan dish into a deep baking tin with water half way up the flan dish. See picture below.

7. Heat in an oven at 120oC for about 1 hour or until set
Out of the oven

8. Cool, when cold (overnight best) or in the fridge for 1 hour.

9. Hold a flat tray on the top and flip remove the flan dish and enjoy.
