With our HV meter we needed to have scripting for load management and GSM so our retailer can monitor how much power we are exporting/importing. You can see in the box the ripple controllers (Green Tabs). When these are operated from our network operator Orion our scripting starts in the EDMI HV Meter, measuring how much power we are exporting. The reason for measuring how much power is being imported or exported is for Orion's Controllable peak period. This is when the Canterbury network (Orion) and or Upper South Island Networks, are over the target and Orion want customers to either turn load off or Turn generators on, and this is done with charging or crediting Major customers as an incenctive.
