URUGUA - Uruguay currently has a cattle herd of 12 million head with beef becoming the main export commodity of the country. Based on this it can be said that Uruguay is the country with the highest number of cattle per capita, 3.8.

In 1999 New Zealand had a total of 14 400 dairy farms. The "average" New Zealand dairy farm was 90 hectares and milked 230 cows.

The two areas from space that standout from being green are Ireland and New Zealand.

The largest dairy farm in the world is the Al-Safi Farm, located in Saudi Arabia. The farm has over 29,000 head cattle and 14 square miles of farm land. Production levels are up to a staggering 100,000 gallons of milk a day.
